Pre-Convention Events
Greetings Convention Delegates! We are now offering a bus trip combo to the historic Hotel Del Coronado and the Cabrillo National Monument on Saturday, June 20, 2026. This will be an all-day excursion from 10:00am-6:00pm. This pre-convention event must be pre-registered and will be limited to the first 35 registrants. Accordingly, the price will be $100 per person. This price is inclusive for a seat on the coach, a per person contribution for the driver's gratuity and a ticket for an official tour offered by the Hotel Del Coronado, followed by the visit to Point Loma. The Cabrillo Monument, operated by the US National Park Service, will be a free admissions cost, but they do highly encourage voluntary donations at the Visitor's Center. During our time at Coronado, there will be an opportunity to have lunch on your own. For reservations regarding this pre-convention combo event outing, please indicate on the registration form. Hotel Del Coronado
Join us as we take a historical tour of this magnificent hotel & the grounds. There will also be time to go to the one of the best beaches in the world! Stan Laurel once stayed here & sailed the bay around Coronado Island on his yacht, the Ruth-L.
This famous hotel is also noted for the historical figures who have stayed here and for being the filming location of many movies including: "Some Like It Hot" 1959 & "The Stuntman" 1980.
Cabrillo National Monument & Lighthouse
Join us as we tour of the beautiful Cabrillo Monument & Lighthouse in Point Loma. In 1542, this is where the first European set foot on what was to become the West Coast of the United States. It is now run by the US Department Of The Interior as part of the National Park system.
