We, the committee at sonsfestsd2026 are working to make our site www.sonsfestsd2026.com, accessible to people with disabilities.
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.0 guidelines. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. We used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues. The language of this site is English. We added alternative text to all images used on this site and we reduced the use of motion on the site.
Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content
The accessibility of certain pages on the site depend on contents that do not belong to the organization, and instead belong to Google Maps. The following page is affected by this: Getting Around San Diego. We therefore declare partial compliance with the standard for this page.
Accessibility arrangements at sonsfestsd2026
All Accessibility Arrangements for sonsfestsd2026 have been arranged with The Legacy Resort and Spa, Royal Charters LLC, USS Midway Museum and City Experiences AKA City Cruises San Diego. More specific arrangements are as follows:
1. The Legacy Resort and Spa (The Legacy Hotel) will provide for free, a limited number of wheelchairs for the delegates of sonsfestsd2026 on a first come, first serve basis. A limited number of "special assistance" or "ADA Compatible" rooms will also be available the delegates on a first come-first serve basis. Public elevators are on site in multiple building at the venue. In addition, a limited number of disabled parking spaces will be provided on a first come-first serve basis. All hotel rooms, restrooms, restaurant and bar, swimming pool, event center and common areas inside and outside the hotel within the resort property, meet and comply with all federal, state and local ADA requirements. The Legacy also offers a limited number of accessible parking spaces on a first come-first serve basis.
2. Royal Charters Bus Company, LLC will provide access to those with special needs upon loading and unloading the buses and other transportation. Volunteers of sonsfestsd2026 will also assist those with special needs upon loading and unloading the buses. Royal Charters, LLC will meet and comply with all federal, state and local ADA requirements.
3. The USS Midway Museum will provide accessible restrooms and most common areas will meet and comply with all federal, state and local ADA requirements. Public elevators are located throughout the ship and museum. Please note: the USS Midway Museum has certain areas that are not accessible to the general public. In addition, there are certain limited common areas that are also not accessible to those with special needs of the disabled public.
4. City Experiences AKA City Cruises San Diego will provide limited seating in certain common areas to those who need "special assistance". They will also provide ADA accessible restrooms. Common areas available to the public will meet and comply with all federal, state and local ADA requirements.
5. Hotel Del Coronado will provide accessible restrooms and all common areas will meet and comply with all federal, state and local ADA requirements. Public elevators are located throughout the facility.
6. Cabrillo National Monument in Point Loma will provide accessible restrooms and most common areas will meet and comply with all federal, state and local ADA requirements. These Federal public facilities and the entire property is maintained and served by the US Department of the Interior and the National Park Service.
7. The San Diego Zoo will provide accessible restrooms and most common areas will meet and comply with all federal, state and local ADA requirements. This non-profit organization and the entire property is owned and operated by the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance.
